Yard Sale Finds: Vases

I love going to yard sales! They're like a treasure hunt for me.  I am always looking for anything that I can completely redo.  My most recent obsession is vases! I always find them in different shapes, sizes, and colors and I can always get a great deal! The last couple times I went yard sailing treasure hunting I found a bunch of vases.

I got four of the tall vase on the left for 25 cents a piece and I found two of the short vase on the right in a free bin of the first yard sale that day.  I believe I told my mom, "The early bird gets the worm!" (: 

As soon as I got home I started painting! I was inspired by this pin on Pinterest.  

I used Craftsmart paint from Michael's that I bought on sale and went to town! This is what I came up with.  

My wonderful boyfriend, Mack, inspired my second vase painting.  While talking one day he mentioned it would be fun to get a fish, well that little fish will need a home wont he? (: I give you my fish palace! 

I tried to leave plenty of open space to see the fish once inside! My favorite part is the seaweed at the bottom.
